Missy Pedrick is a self-taught artist whose artistic journey began at an early age in Cincinnati, OH, where she learned to sew from her mother, appreciate fabrics and textures. Missy moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2005, where she began to collect original art for her home. This sparked a new interest in exploring her creativity through painting. Upon countless hours of practice, experimentation, and observation, Missy began creating original art and gifts in 2019. The opportunity to work with high school students at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, introduced her to new techniques and inspiration. With a commitment to try new things and a love for color, Missy uses Acrylics and mixed media including fibers and resin to reflects her unique perspective.
Missy Pedrick is located in Jacksonville Florida with her husband, son, daughter and two rambunctious German Shorthaired Pointers. A graduate of the University of Florida, she worked in the corporate environment before staying home with her children and pursuing her creative interests.
